The Marconi Centre is located in the heart of the city at 1026 Baseline Road, Ottawa, at the corner of Baseline Road and Farlane Avenue (near Baseline and Merivale Rd.). We are situatuted just minutes from Prince of Wales Drive and the Queensway.
This picturesque facility is close to the experimental farm - an ideal location for taking pictures on your big day.
The banquet hall accommodates up to 270 people for weddings. Other facilities include a grand entrance, a lavish garden for that perfect photo, and an intimate chapel that can accommodate up to 25 guests. We also have a smaller banquet room that seats up to 50 people for more intimate celebrations.

A minimum of $1,000 deposit is required to confirm your reception reservation. We regret that the deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is required 21 days prior to the event. Final guest count must be provided no later than 7 days prior to the event.
All cancellations must be provided to Marconi Centre in writing by the party who made the reservation.
In the event of cancellation of 6 months or more, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the regular meeting room rental will be charged.
In the event of cancellation between 2 and 6 months prior to the function date, a cancellation fee equal to the full value of the regular meeting room will be charged.
In the event of cancellation between 4 and 8 weeks prior to the function date, a cancellation fee equal to the full value of the regular meeting room rental and 50% of the estimated value of the food will be charged.
In the event of cancellation 30 days prior to the function date, a cancellation fee equal to the full value of the regular meeting room rental and 100% of the estimated value of food will be charged.
A charge of $75.00 is applied for confetti clean up
All bar and liquor dispensing services to be closed no later than 1:00 a.m.
All liquor consumption and entertainment to be terminated no later than 1:30 a.m.
Self coat check is available; however, coat check services can be made available at $2.00 per person
You can provide the wine, the corkage fee is $10.00 per bottle and you would need to obtain a special occasion's permit (LCBO)
Hall surcharges apply to groups less than 150 guests as follows: 100-149 guests - $500 surcharge, Under 100 - $750 surcharges
